NORCO, CA - The students from Corona High School's Career and Technical Education (CTE) Industrial Woodworking program nailed it at Hillside Craft Fair’s Woodworking Showcase and Competition this past weekend. Under the expert guidance of teacher Kyle Whittenburg, the students made an astonishing showing as every single one of them earned a first-place award.

The Hillside Craft Fair, which features a wide range of handcrafted goods from artisans across Southern California, saw a stunning array of furniture pieces submitted by the Corona High School students. Their entries included end tables, coffee tables, shelves, TV stands, and more, all of which demonstrated exceptional skill and creativity. 

The success at the Hillside Craft Fair has not only brought recognition to the CTE Industrial Woodworking program at Corona High School but has also highlighted the importance of vocational education in fostering practical skills and creativity among students. 

These wins for Corona High School's woodshop class underscore the value of technical education and points to a promising path ahead for these talented young woodworkers. With every student taking home a first-place award, it's clear that the future of woodworking is in good hands at CNUSD.
