Invitation to review new curriculum materials- DEADLINE EXTENDED!

CNUSD would like to invite members of our community to review our proposed new curriculum for AP World History, AP Psychology, Government, and Economics.

Materials are available for public review at the CNUSD Parent Center from April 10th through May 1st between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Parent Center is located at 152 E 6th St, Corona, CA 92879

Attention Booster Volunteers!

The Booster Workshop virtual online training will take place via Zoom this year from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on May 16th and August 15th.

How do I register?

Once online registration is available, an email notification will be sent out. You can also check our Booster Organizations webpage for updates.

Who should attend?

Mandatory Attendance: At least one member of the Booster Executive Board must participate. We highly recommend that the President and/or Treasurer complete the training, as it heavily focuses on the financial aspects of running a booster.

Chavez Students Build Nesting Boxes for Prado Wetlands

In a collaborative effort between Cesar Chavez Academy's engineering class and local conservationists with the Orange County Water District (OCWD), students from the academy constructed boxes aimed at providing crucial nesting spots for tree swallows, enriching the biodiversity of the Prado Constructed Wetlands.

The impact of these bird boxes extends beyond nesting opportunities. It's estimated each box will eliminate approximately 300,000 flying insects, as the birds residing in them naturally prey on insects.

These nesting boxes symbolize the power of community collaboration in creating a more sustainable and harmonious environment for both wildlife and humans alike at the Prado Constructed Wetlands.

CNUSD Students Participate in Box Car Racing

In a vibrant celebration of local history and youthful ingenuity, many CNUSD third graders took part in an exhilarating Box Car Racing event, hosted by the Corona History Association.

The race, which drew crowds of supportive community members and excited parents, was not just a test of speed but a showcase of creativity, teamwork, and a budding appreciation for the heritage of Corona.

Kinder Registration

Are your littles ready for school? TK and Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-25 school year is NOW OPEN!

To enroll in Kindergarten, a child must be five years old by Sept. 1, 2024. Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program is for 4-year-olds who turn 5 between Sept. 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025. Please note: TK is not full-day.

2024 Summer Boost Program

The deadline for priority registration has passed. Summer Boost registrations completed after April 15th will be placed on a wait list.

Summer Boost is a program to provide current TK-7th grade students the chance to participate in hands-on learning over summer break. This program is designed to excite students by connecting them to school and igniting learning for next year.
